This blog is dedicated to Travis

I was in our backyard the other day looking around, and I realized that Travis has really done alot to it since we moved in a few years ago. When I say "WE" in the following pictures, I really should say Travis. He has done it ALL!! Anyway-I am dedicating this blog to him and all of his hard work!




I gave this pond to Trav last year for his bday. Great present, huh? He had to dig it and do all of the work. It was a present that required work. He actually enjoys that kinds of thing. Anyway-it's nice to sit out on the porch and listen to the water.

Here is the swingset that Trav put up a few years ago. We had a party at our house awhile ago and some big kids got on and the main board that goes across broke! They were a little to heavy. Anway-Trav just fixed it. I had my doubt that he could do it and he did it!!! Sorry Trav-you are awesome!

Here's a little flower bed that we put in last year. If you want something to grow fast, plant these knockout roses. They are awesome!

The corner of the yard where we creatively put a bench. This was to cover up those ugly box things that hold whatever it is they hold. We were they lucky ones that got them in our yard.

We bought two of these trees a couple of years ago for $5!! I can't beleive they are still standing after all of the ice storms and crazy weather around here. They have really grown, beleive it or not!

I love this bathing suit! I found it at Walmart of all places. I think by the end of the summer Isabella will have about 10 bathing suits. I just can't resist them!!! They are just so cute!!

Soon to be a Kindergartner!

Trace has had a marvelous first year at school! He has LOVED every minute of it. I am very proud of how great he has done this year. He is reading lots of sight words and easy books. I know pre-k is pretty hard, but he made all 3's on his report card!! They only get two reports cards a year in pre-k and the first one he made one 2, in cleans up work space. I thought that was pretty funny. I wonder where he gets that from? (me) I can already tell that Trace is our rule follower ! :) He's ready for K next year.

Bella's Last Day

My sweet baby girl on her last day of school this year. Look how big I have gotten!

Bella's first day! She couldn't even walk yet.

Isabella had her last day of school on Thursday. She has been going twice a week and really has fun with her little friends. I can't believe this year is over! It has gone by so fast and she has grown SO much! I can't beleive how little she was at the first of the year. She doesn't look like a baby anymore!

Mother's Day/Mimi and Trace's Spa

I love being a mother! It is truly the best thing in the world. Trace and Isabella bring so much joy and happiness to my life. I thank God everyday for choosing me to be their mother. On Mother's Day we went over to my wonderful Mother's house for dinner. Trace went over earlier in the day to help Mimi with my mother's day surprise. It was a mother's day spa! It was so cute! It was in mom's piano room where there was soft music playing, and their were candles with the lights off. Trace was in charge and Mimi directed him. It was funny. He painted my toenails, or maybe I should say toes, my fingernails, gave me a facial and massage. They even had a magazine for me to read with Dr. Pepper and snacks! It was so nice. Thank you mom for that special day. You are the BEST mom in the whole world, and I hope that I can be just as wonderful to my kids.

Isabella LOVES Barney! Trace was a Wiggle fan, but she loves to watch and sing along with that crazy purple dinosaur. She is too cute singing along with the motions! I love it! Broadway, here I come Aunt Julie!
