Happy Father's Day!

All the reasons Travis is the best Dad ever:

He loves Trace and Isabella so very much!
He’s a great role model for our kids.
He works and takes care of Isabella during the day. I really don’t know how he gets anything finished ever!
He did the same thing for Trace when he was little.
He makes Trace “wiggly” sandwiches.
He makes Isabella’s lunch for her to take to school in the morning. (Tues./Thurs.)
He used to take Trace to Stay and Play even though he was the ONLY Dad there.
He takes Trace in the front yard to play golf.
He makes up really good stories to tell Trace at bedtime.
He wants Trace to sleep with us on Fridays.
He wrestles with the kids.
He wants our kids to grow up in the church, and know Jesus.
He takes Isabella on walks around the neighborhood while I’m at school.
He makes Friday “Trace Day” where Trace gets to pick where we eat and what movie we watch.
He SPOILS our kids.
He takes Trace to Target to look for new super heroes.
He plays games, works on puzzles.
He sets up the sprinkler and baby pool for the kids to play in.
He goes to the grocery store with Isabella. (not fun)
He watches Barney and Elmo with Isabella.
He's the BEST!
I could go on……
I am so thankful to have a husband who is such a wonderful father to my children. Thank you Travis! I love you!

BIG T

Trace put on this little show the other day at Mimi's house. He is rapping??? Have no idea where he got this from. We do not listen to rap ever! He has all of these moves and hand movements that crack me up!! After he performed for us, Isabella decided that she needed to! She put on the hat and other stuff T had on! It was hilarious.

LIttle Gym

Little Bella is taking a Little Gym class this summer. I couldn't go last week, so my mom and sister took her. They said she did pretty good. I went with her yesterday to the second class. Well.... she hates the circle time! She would NOT touch the bells and would not walk or run around in a circle. Weird? She loved everything else, but wanted nothing to do with the orgainized stuff. She wanted to do what she wanted to do. She also did not want that teacher near her. My silly Bella! Maybe next week we can join the circle time without screaming! :)

Bella posing for a pic.

Mason and Madelynn

She got a "10" on her beam routine!

Our friend Valerie had a fishing bday party this past weekend. It was such a great idea! All of the kids got a little backpack with a fishing pole and sun glasses in it. They got to try out their new poles at the pond that was in the park. Fun Party! I wish one of my kids had a bday in a summer month!

Do I look like a fisherman or what?

WORMS!!

Look who we saw by the pond! A momma duck and her babies!

We didn't catch anything but Hayden's fishing line, but we had fun!

Valerie's Spongebob cake!

My little Tiger

Trace started golf lessons last week! He has been playing in the front yard for awhile and was pretty good, so we decided to give it a try. He's not the most aggressive kid, so we are thinking golf might be a good fit. He was so cute! It was funny watching all of the other golfers on the driving range, and then right there in the middle was little Trace trying his best to hit the ball. He was too cute. He had a blister at the end on his hand from gripping the club so hard. He got a Gatorade at the end and thought that was pretty cool. The last day of his lessons the pro will take him out on the course! Can't wait to see how that goes!

Nice swing!

Phew! That was hard work! He got a blister! :(

Living on the EDGE! VBS program

VBS "Camp Edge"

We had a great week a Vacation Bible School this week. The theme was "Camp Edge." I was a guide for Trace's class. We went to crafts, music, recreation, discovery/science, and storytime. He had a great time! On Friday they had a final music performance for all of the parents. Trace did great!

Here are some pics from the final program on Friday!

Aunt JuJu came to visit!

My sister Julie just came for a visit for about 6 days. She just left on Tuesday. We had so much fun while she was here. We always pack each day full, and spend pretty much all day together when she visits. We went shopping, had Travis' bday party, went to a friend's bday party, went to see UP, enjoyed Mom and Loyd's homecooked meals every night, and celebrated Julie's pretend bday party. Yes- in my family we often celebrate pretend holidays. Since my sister lives in NJ and is sometimes a little here and there, we have to be creative sometimes. It really doesn't matter what day it actually is as long as we are together!

Isabella was saying JuJu the whole way to the airport when we went to pick her up. When Julie got in the car, Isabella looked at her and started screaming. Who know what that crazy girl was thinking, but she was mad the whole way home. Well.. she did warm up to Aunt Julie fairly quickly and keeps asking where she is. TRace was very excited for the visit and enjoyed every minute. On Monday night we said goodbye and Trace was BAWLING!!! It was so sad. We came home and he was still crying. He really loves his Aunt. We love you JUJU! Can't wait to see you again in September for your concert!

We went to see "UP" in 3D while she was here!

Julie wanted to cook for us one night while she was here. Julie was working hard in the kitchen all day. She was showing off some of her new cooking skills!

MMM personalized potpies! They were so yummy! She also made a delicious salad!

30 presents for Aunt Julie! Mom goes a little overboard, but in a good way!

Philbrook Brunch/pics

Travis and his mother share a birthday, so it's always a big celebration when June
7th comes around. We went to brunch at Philbrook Museum. It was REALLY nice and good! The kids were actually pretty well behaved too, which I was a little worried about! We went out to the gardens to take some pics after brunch. It is such a great picture opportunity! I love it! I took so many pictures. They also just loved running around in the grassy area. Later that evening we had my family over to celebrate again for Travis' bday. It was a fun-filled day!

June 7th-Happy Bday Daddy and Mamo

Trace disappeared into his room at one point during present opening and came back with a homemade crown for Travis to wear. It was so sweet.
