Potty Time

Isabella has been wanting to sit on Trace's old potty. The only thing is....when she does, she wants all of her clothes off and she wants to straddle it front-ways. It is SO funny. I guess this is from watching brother go to the bathroom? It's pretty cute! She also likes to make her babies go potty. Maybe we will really get down to business this summer? Who knows.

Happy Anniversary Baby!

Travis and I celebrated our 9th anniversary this week. We have actually been together for 16 years! CRAZY!! I can't beleive it! It seems like just yesterday we had our first date at the Lambda Chi Hobo Hayride. I fell off of the hale bale and a piece of hay went in my eye. My contact came out and we couldn't find it! It was quite memorable. We have been together ever since. He's the best husband and dad that I could ever ask for. I love you Trav! *He's a bit under the weather in this pic. He couldn't taste anything at dinner :(
After dinner we went by to pick up the kids. They had a marevelous time, of course, at Mimi and Papa's house.
Mom and Loyd got us a yummy cake from Ludger's. This is the same cake we had at our wedding! It was delicious!!!

Photo Session Gone BAD!
When I say BAD, I mean BAD! We had an appt. yesterday at 4:00 for pictures at the mall. We were going to THe Picture People for the first time. Well... we went into the bathroom to change Isabella's clothes. She was very upset that we were putting her in this dress. I have NO idea why? Anyway-she screamed amd screamed and yelled OFF! OFF! (It was really more like "O" but she meant off) So we come out of the bathroom and head towards the little room. Trace was going by himself first. She was just watching, keep in mind. She is SCREAMING!!!!! I mean SCREAMING!! Well.. Trace did marvelous and then it was her turn. The screaming had not even let up. It was like she was being tortured and I have no clue why!! She was crying so hard I thought she was going to throw up! She had red specks all over her face and snot everywhere along with tears. It was awful! We got some good pics of T and they said we could walk around the mall and see if she'd calm down. Well... she did NOT calm down. It was just as bad and the whole food court was staring at us. I am sure they thought I just smacked her the way she was screaming. It was SO LOUD. I can't even decscribe it. It was horrible, but also a little funny at the same time. We went back in a little while later and she had sort of calmed down a little. We were looking at T's pics and she was playing and having fun believe it or not. I look at the guy and ask him if we could possible try again. (I really thought it would not happen) I just had to try though. The red splotches were gone and she had her hair all curled and the cute little dress! I just hated to go home!!! Well... I don't know how, but she did very well with this new guy! Yes we were there until 6:00, but we have some pretty good pics considering the drama!!!!
I look so sweet in my curlers waiting for my picture. Little did we know you would throw a MONSTER fit when we got there.
Let me outta here! I am NOT putting on that dress!
I HATE THIS DRESS!!!!!
Take it OFF!!!
I want to leave this place!!! Mommy didn't know what to do!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Trace has really gotten into the whole St. Patrick's day thing this year. At school they have had visits from a leprechaun named "Leppy." It has been SO funny. Each day last week "Leppy" would do something to the room while they were out taking a bathroom break. One day he took all of their shoes during naptime and put them in the hallway. Another day Trace wrote him a letter a Leppy wrote back. It was so funny because all the kids could talk about was Leppy. They really belived it! SO Happy St. Patrick's Day from Leppy's biggest fan.

Deep Thoughts by Trace
Here are a few things that Trace has said lately that really crack me up. He will come up with the funniest things out of nowhere. Sometimes we don't know how to exactly answer these questions either :)
1. When will I get a step-mom? (he connected this to Cinderella)
2. How do monkeys have babies? (Not people! Monkeys! He loves his monkey George and of course wanted how they had babies. Travis told him through their belly button. Trace then said, "I thought the doctor cut them out." He thinks everyone is born like that since sister and him were both c-sections.
3. Is Joseph God since he was Jesus' dad? (Travis tried his best to explain this one and Trace was still a little confused. Anyone have a good kid friendly explanation for this?
I think the questions will only get harder! I'm getting a little worried!

HIVES?
Last night Isabella went to bed early because she only took one short nap. At around 10:00 she started crying and I went in there to "Pacify" her and make sure she hadn't throw all the pacis out. She kept screaming so I went in and tried to calm her down. I took her down the hall and noticed that she had a bunch of bumps on her face. ALL over her face! They looks like a bunch of small bug bites. I unsnapped her PJs and found that she had this ALL over her body. Keep in mind she is STILL screaming! I was starting to freak out a little. She has had a stopped up nose this week. I know you can get the hives from allergic reactions, virus, etc. I just didn't know the cause and was worried it was going to get worse. We called the Dr. and he said to give her Benadryl and take some pics and send to him if she still had it in the morning. She calmed down while watching Barney and eating Cheese It Party mix of all things. The Benadryl kicked in and the hives began to fade. She woke up fine this morning, but a few small hives did pop up on her back and arm. These things make me a little neurotic! I am wondering when we willhave a week where someone isn't coughing, has pink eye or a strange rash anytime soon!!!!!!!!!!!
They were all over my face! Even forhead and nose, both cheeks.

Cheese IT Party Mix made me feel better! Yes, I know this is very weird that a 1 year old will eat party mix. One day this week she went to the pantry and got the box out and started eating it! She LOVES it! Talk about bad breath!

No Babies!

It says, "NO BABIES!"
Yesterday Trace was playing in his room by himself with the door closed. Every time the door would open Isabella wanted to go in and play too! A little while later Trace came to me with a piece of paper and asked me to write the word babies on it. He is always asking me to write down something down, so I didn't really think about what he was doing. Next, he heads to the kitchen drawer and gets out some tape. Next thing I know he has this "NO Babies" sign on his door! He had drawn a circle around the word babies with a line through it, and added the word no. It was really funny! Sister does NOT like to be left out! :(
